My third reason is compatibility Mac is compatible with most of the services you have already, like dropbox, Google Drive and Docs, Office365 (but native software wise you should get 2011 on Mac, there is always online version). People may like paint on Windows and not like Mac because of that, ok I understand that, but there is a couple Mac Apps that will replace it and are better than it is on Windows. That means you can find programs that are better than mainstream that help better with your needs, not what Microsoft thinks you need, that brings me to my next point.

Mac is a good productivity platform, features like Lookup allow you to preview files in the finder and other places. One con is that it does not come with a anti-virus like windows, even though it is hard to get one does not mean that it is impossible, and therefore you need Anti-virus like Norton, (Only get it from trusted business because there have been a imposter program that was a virus for Mac) I use, Leafnote (the program I am typing with now), and Notability (a note program), it allows you to explore new things and allows you to download things like: Evernote, Microsoft Office, and more. The Mac App Store allows you to browse programs that Apple reviewed for viruses. Instead of “XYZ wants to access your computer” it is “XYZ want to access ”. One reason Macs are better than a PC is because it can be harder to get a virus than a PC.Ī Mac is UNIX (similar to Linux) based system, that is very permission based.
Why should you choose a Mac over a PC? There may be a smaller chance of you getting a virus, it is better at productivity than a PC, and it is compatible with programs you may already have. It was supposed to be a persuasive paragraph but instead I wrote this, hope you enjoy.
